BIO

Born on July 5th, 1999, in the vibrant city of Nicosia, Cyprus, JoJo Kali is a passionate singer, songwriter, and educator with an unwavering love for rock and metal music. Currently based in Arnhem, Netherlands, studied at Artez Conservatory, Bachelor in Jazz and Pop Voice Performance. JoJo is on a journey to carve her name in the music industry. JoJo's musical odyssey began at an early age, fueled by her innate creativity and a deep-rooted connection to the raw energy of rock and metal, constantly drawing inspiration from icons like Freddie Mercury, Lzzy Hale, Prince, Amy Lee, etc. In November 2023, she started interning at Rijn Ijssel, Arnhem for a few months, teaching voice to the students there, while having guidance from professionals. Alongside, she devotes her time to teaching vocals and music theory, for preparation of the students for entrance exams in conservatories. In addition, due to her love for musicals, she pours her heart and soul into crafting her own musical, weaving captivating narratives with her poignant lyrics and dynamic melodies. With each composition, she invites listeners into her world, where emotion runs deep, and music transcends boundaries. Beyond her musical pursuits, JoJo is a fervent advocate for artistic expression and cultural exchange. Her multicultural upbringing has instilled in her a deep appreciation for diversity, and she seeks to bridge cultural divides through the universal language of music. As JoJo continues to evolve as an artist and educator, she remains steadfast in her commitment to authenticity, innovation, and the relentless pursuit of her musical dreams.
